William E. Riggs

William E. Riggs, 78, of Newport, passed away Tuesday April 5, 2016 at his home.
He is survived by his daughter, Rita Jane Taylor of Newport; brother Woodrow Riggs of Otway; sister Idell Ramsey of Augusta, GA; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
William was born and raised in the Fort Barnwell, Cove City area. He owned and operated his own business specializing in maintenance of lawn care tools and small engine repair. He was a member of Broad Creek Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Henry Riggs and Ruby Ellen Pate Riggs.
