Bill was born on August 4, 1945, in Morehead City, NC, to the late William and Gladys Crank. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country for four years. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by the love of his life of 42 years, Lucille Buck Crank; daughter, Lucille Matthews; brother, Jesse Ray Crank Sr.; and grandsons, Jordan Conway and Joey Matthews.
