William Joseph Burns, Infant, of South River, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Cannon Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Amy Herbert and Thomas Burns of the home; sister, Nevaeh Burns of the home; brother, Marley Herbert of the home; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ashley Herbert, III and of Morehead City; paternal grandparents, Sidney and Janet Burns of the home; maternal great-grandfather, Joseph Herbert, Jr. of Atlantic Beach; maternal great-grandparents, Philip and Janie Cockrell of Wilson; maternal great-great-grandparents, Estelle Mercer and Rose Cockrell both of Wilson.
The family will receive friends following the service in South River.
