Wanda was born on June 9, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia, to Willis and Silvia Beverly. Wanda loved weekends at Cape Lookout, taking advantage of every opportunity to head to the beautiful shore. Her love for the outdoors was evident through her passions for fishing, hunting, and four-wheeling.

In addition to her love for nature, Wanda was an extraordinary cook and baker.
