Vickie grew up in the tight-knit community of Harkers Island, North Carolina, where she resided for most of her adult life. Known for her kind heart and gentle nature, she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her warm smile and caring nature provided comfort not only to the patients but also to their families.
