March 20, 1935 — March 31, 2010
Thomas Lee "Stumpy" Willis, Sr., 75, of Newport, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
Mr. Willis was employed as an engineer with B & M Railroad, working with Norwood Gaskill. "Stump" retired from the railroad in 1992.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday at the home of Marie Mae Willis, 516 Broad Creek Loop Rd., Lot # 4, Country Pine Estates.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Mae Willis; three daughters, Anna French of Newport, Bobbie Brewster of Key West, FL and Angela Snedeker of Newport; son, Tommy Lee Willis, Jr. of Beaufort; sister, Deltha Mastrorocco of Jacksonville, FL; brother, William Willis, Sr. of Mt. Olive; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and caregiver, Bonita Ray of Newport
