Theresa Leclair Ipock

Theresa LeClair Ipock, 67, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

Born on June 8, 1958, in Massachusetts, Theresa was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Joyce Leclair. Throughout her life, she demonstrated an exceptional love and compassion for animals, serving as a devoted advocate for Humane Society. She actively participated in various online cat groups and was known to welcome any stray or lonely cat into her home. Her passion for animals extended to her love for horses, which captivated her with their strength and beauty.

Theresa made numerous connections in our community through her work as a mail postal carrier. In her free time, she enjoyed playing games on her cell phone and had a keen eye for photography.

With a fierce and generous love for her family, Theresa was a loving wife of 29 years, “Super Mom” with unwavering dedication to her children, and proud grandmother to the apples of her life.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Michael Ray Ipock Jr.; daughters, Heather Nicole Davis (Michael James Player) of Newport and Adelaide Sonja of Otway; sons, James Christopher Davis (Kate) of Morehead City and Shawn Michael Davis (Brittany Nguyen) of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Joslyn Lee Mills, Coral Lynn Mills, and Dylan Kyle Mills; her best friend, Julie Honeycutt; and many cuddly kitties.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael LeClair and Patricia LeClair.
