Thelma Louise Millis, 82, of Newport, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Carteret Care Center.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, August 17, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jack Mumford officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Millis of Newport; one son, James Millis of Newport; sister, Swanna Doyle; and two grandchildren, Michael Lesher Jr. and Calvin Thornton Millis.
She is preceded in death by her husband Roland Millis for over 50 years; parents, James and Louise Darling.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
