Teresa Ann Lehr, 64, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Carolina East Medical Center.

Born on November 18, 1958, in York, Pennsylvania, Teresa was the daughter of the late William Wolfe and Beatrice Hartlaub Wolfe. Teresa lived a life filled with love, joy, and compassion.

Working in the retail industry, she interacted with countless individuals, always leaving a lasting impression with her warm smile and kind nature. Throughout her career, she touched the lives of many, creating meaningful connections and friendships with her colleagues and customers alike, she was a friend to all.

As a devoted wife, Teresa shared 43 incredible years of marriage with her beloved husband, David. Their bond was unbreakable, built on a foundation of love, trust, and unwavering support for one another. Together, they created a home filled with love and cherished memories.

Teresa's true joys in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She embraced her role as a mother with dedication and selflessness. Her love knew no bounds, as she nurtured, guided, and supported her children in all their endeavors. Her legacy lives on through her children, who have been instilled with her values of kindness, resilience, and love.

When Teresa wasn't spending time with her family, she found solace in nature. Camping trips brought her immense joy, as she unwound amidst the beauty of the outdoors. She had a deep love for the beach and often found peace walking along the shore, taking in the sound of crashing waves and the tranquility that only the ocean can provide.

Teresa's kindness knew no limits. She was known for her passion for baking and would often share her homemade treats with neighbors and friends. Her chocolate chip cookies were her favorite and her sugar cookies were legendary, bringing smiles to the faces of those she shared them with. Additionally, she had a heart for helping others and would lovingly cook turkeys for single individuals in her neighborhood during the holiday season, spreading joy and warmth to all those around her.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her loving husband, David Richard Lehr; daughter, Brandy Rogers (Robert) of Chapin, SC; son, David Roland Lehr (Christy) of Dacula, GA; sisters, Connie Wolfe, Cindy Cramer (Mark), Tammy Devine (Mark) and Billee Joe Keller, all of York, PA; brothers, Donald Wolfe (Brenda) and Todd Wolfe, all of York, PA; grandchildren, Shae Fullerton, Mayah Rogers, Anjanette Lehr and Brandon Rogers; and greatgrandchild, Deion Fullerton.

A celebration of Teresa's remarkable life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory.
