Ted D. Beasley, 56 of Cape Carteret, passed away Tuesday, April 17­, 2018 at Carteret Health Care.

His memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City, officiated by Rev. James Daub.

Ted was the co-owner, in the early 1990’s, of Beasley and Thompson Construction company of Emerald Isle, NC.

Ted was a gifted and very talented accomplished guitar player. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed boating and camping with Sue. He had a love for cooking with fried chicken as his specialty. Working as a General Contractor, his work in construction of homes was impeccable and was a great passion for him.

He is survived by his father, Ellis H. Beasley and step-mother, Sylvia F. Beasley of Wake Forest, NC; love of his life, Sue Lambert of Candler, NC; brother, Ellis Timothy Beasley and wife, Deborah, of Youngsville, NC; niece, Donna Marie Beasley; nephew, Ellis Taylor Beasley; and 1 granddaughter, Makayla Dang and her father, Trang Dang; 3 grandsons, Aiden, Tyler and Noah Andrews of NY; special cousin, Jamie Horn; and dear friend, Patrick Lamitina.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy G. Beasley and his daughter, Danielle Thompson.
