Sylvia J. Widener, 72, of Havelock, died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Carolina East Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Woodland Cemetery in Winston-Salem, NC.
She is survived by her husband, Ervin M. Widener, Jr. of the home; daughters, Sheryl F. Jones of Newport, NC, Tammy L. Watson of Duncan, SC, and Debra G. Murray of Lompoc, CA; sons, Elbert F. Gore, III of Valparaiso, FL, David W. Widener of Rocklin, CA, and Dennis W. Widener of Vail, AZ; sister, Barbara L. Cooper of Chapel Hill, NC; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
