Susan Imelda Grady Byrd, 81, of Emerald Isle, formerly of Kinston, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at her home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Gordon Street Christian Church with Rev. Mark Benson officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Kinney Byrd of the home; daughter, Mary Susan Grady-Alston of La Grange; brother, Durwood Grady of Dover; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Hazel Grady; and brother, Roy Dalton Grady.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to Gordon Street Christian Church, 118 E. Gordon St., Kinston, NC 28501.
