Steven " Stevie" Charles VanDeVoord, 58, of Newport, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 -8:00 pm Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home.
Stevie was an avid hunter and Harley Davidson enthusiast; brother and friend to all. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara VanDeVoord of the home; two daughters, Tina Miller Rogers and husband Lee, and Jennifer Lynn VanDeVoord and Husband Neil Kimbro both of Newport; two brothers, Ron VanDeVoord and Jerry VanDeVoord both of Newport; two sisters, Connie Hill and husband Scott of Michigan, Chris Leuthold and husband Tom of Tenn; sister-in-law, Lenore VanDeVoord; three grandchildren, Alexis Taylor, Hailey Whitehead, and Madison Wethington; four step-grandchildren, Maddie and Mason Rogers, Wyatt and Lacey Kimbro; and many nieces and nephews.
