Steven Shepard

Steven Shepard, 49, of Newport, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.
Mr. Shepard was a a meat cutter at Cherry Point for 21 years.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 7:00 pm Friday, August 7, 2009 at the IAMAW Building, 331-A West Main St. in Havelock.
He is survived by his wife, Lisha Shepard of the home; daughter, Susan Shepard of the home; sister, Brenda Shepard of New Bern; step-brother, Curtis Smith of Kenansville; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Willie Ann Kelly of Kinston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyrus Shepard, Jr. and Dorothy Shepard Smith.
