Steven Raymond Conroy, 37, of Newport, died Thursday, April 29, 2015 at Carolina East Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Joliet, IL.
Steven is survived by his son Nathan Conroy of Newport; father Raymond Edward Conroy, Sr. and wife Annie of Morehead City; mother Karen Johnson Conroy of Morris, IL; fiancee Denise Bychowski of Newport; brothers David Conroy and wife Andrea of Morris, IL, Raymond "Eddy" Conroy, Jr. and wife Tabitha of Mazon, IL, and Timothy Conroy and wife Regina of Ottwa, IL; paternal grandmother Dolores Conroy of Joliet, IL; and maternal grandmother Joan Robert Johnson of Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather William E. Conroy.
