Stefany Grimes, 86, of Beaufort, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at PruittHealth - Crystal Coast.

Born on January 13, 1940, in Washington, DC, Stefany was the beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy Grimes. She built a meaningful career in television and news production, working with Voice of America as well as several notable TV stations throughout the Washington, DC area. Through her work, she was part of the fast-paced world of broadcasting and took great pride in helping bring stories and news to others.

Those remaining include her brother, Col. Peter Grimes USMC (Retired) and wife Margaret of Beaufort, NC; sister, Rebecca and husband Owen Williams of South Hampton, New York; nieces, Suzanne, Jennifer, and Holly.

In addition to her parents, Stefany was preceded in death by her brother, Robin Grimes.
