Shirley Lee Tolliver, 76, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Cherry Point Bay.

A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at Straightway Apostolic Church in Ayden, North Carolina. Details will be shared once finalized.

Born on March 23, 1950, in New York City, New York, Shirley was the daughter of the late Porter and Wilhelmina Tolliver.

Shirley was a beautiful Christian woman whose love for the Lord was at the heart of her life. Her faith was a guiding light, and she was a devoted member of Straightway Apostolic Church in Ayden, where she cherished her church family. Shirley also had a special gift for caring for others, touching the lives of countless children through her work at Childcare Network in Havelock. The love and kindness she shared with those children made a lasting difference in their lives. When she wasn't caring for others, Shirley enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Gamarr Tolliver (Tiffany) of St. Augustine, FL and Kenya Tolliver of Havelock, NC; and grandchildren, Tamiah Tolliver, Kross Childres, Gamarr Tolliver Jr., Makayla Tolliver, Jahmeel Tolliver, and Javon Tolliver.
