Shirley (Copeland) Carbaugh
May 4, 1938 — June 7, 2015
Shirley Copeland Carbaugh, 77, of Morehead City, formerly of Shallotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was a devoted wife and mother, who loved people, and always put others before herself. She had a great sense of humor, and loved making others laugh.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane Carbaugh Clymer and husband, William "Butch" Clymer of Morehead City; step-son, Robert Carbaugh and wife Karen of Pennsylvania; brother, William M. Copeland; two nephews, Steve McComas and John Mizzell; also two step-granddaughters, and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Carbaugh; mother, Onie Davis Copeland; step-grandson, David Carbaugh; also three sisters, three nephews.
