September 29, 1952 — July 20, 2015
Serena Murrell Hall, 62, of Beaufort, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Guy Murrell and Bishop Donald Crooms officiating. A private graveside service will be held for the family at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Hall; daughter, Marquita Shavon Hall; son, Kelvin Grey Murrell; father, McCline Murrell; brothers, Mac Reese Murrell, Wendell Murray, and William Davis, Jr.; sisters, Christine Murrell, Lendell Murray, Judy Reels, and Peggy Murrell; grandchildren, Keyarra Murrell, Cyrrus Murrell, and Alyssa Murrell; godchildren, Don Small, Jr., Shacota Wallace, Nina Gibbs, Candace Wilson, Jeremiah Stubbs, Glenn Simmons, III, Christin Shelton, and Mitzi Bryant; and godsisters, Linda Prioleau, Joyce Smith, Mae Small, Evangaline Simmons, Annabelle George, Valerie Johnson; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends 1:00 - 3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
