Sandra Chinita Pettiford Jones, 65, of Morehead City, passed away, Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Cherry Point Bay Nursing Home.
A private service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by four daughters, Erma Bennett of Maryland, Naficsa Bennett of New York, Adina Bennett Byrd of Florida and Evelyn Bennett of Maryland, son, Omar Bennett of Cary; three brothers, Antonio Pettiford of Morehead City, Edward Pettiford of Texas and Timmy Pettiford of New York;also 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four nieces and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Erma Pettiford; and a brother, Samuel Pettiford, Jr.
A visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home.
