Sally Scott Hughes, 63, of Newport, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, at her home.
The family will celebrate her life with a service at a later date.
Sally will be deeply missed by her daughter, Tami Johnson of Ayden, NC; mother-in-law, Mary Hughes; sister-in-law, Carol Hughes Thomas; and niece, R.E. Bowden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel “Sammy” Lee Hughes, Jr. and parents, Henry and Myrtle Scott.
