Ronald Earl Pitcher

Ronald Earl Pitcher, 84, of Newport, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Carteret House.
Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Ronald dedicated his career to education and retired as a New York state teacher. His love for teaching continued locally where he taught Basic Adult Education for Carteret Community College.
Ronald is survived by his wife Doris Pitcher; daughter, Cheryl Campbell of South Carolina; step-son Mike Bell of Morehead City; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchilden.
