Robert Usina

Robert Usina, 21, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

There will be a celebration of Robert’s life at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3rd at The Sanctuary of Newport.

Born on March 5, 2004, in Jacksonville, NC, Robert was known for his passion for riding motorcycles and his remarkable skill at working on cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed playing video games and hanging out with his friends.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his parents, Timothy and Mece Usina of Newport; sister, Lauran Lynne Layton and husband Michael of Carteret and Craven Counties; brother, Timothy James Usina of Newport; maternal grandparents, Lynwood and Ida Wiggins of Newport; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Josephine Usina of Newport.

Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Jessica Marie Usina.
