Robert Skinner
December 9, 1931 — October 12, 2009
Robert Skinner, 77, of Newport, "Salty Shores", died Monday, October 12, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Skinner was a veteran and retired with the USMC.
Graveside services will be held 4:00 pm Friday at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Linebarger officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Faith Skinner of the home; daughters, Karen Muehlenkamp and husband Cary of Newport, Kimberly Meaney and husband Jerry of Newport and Shari Hovey of Nashua, NH; sons, Keith M. Stinson of Loveland, CO and Russell L. Cox of Pasadena, TX; sister, Dottie Bonti of Albemarle; 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Lodge, 930-A Wellness Dr., Greenville, NC, 27834.
