Robert William Schrader

Robert William Schrader, 83, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehab Center.

Robert was born on May 18, 1941, in Bay City, Michigan, to the late William and Laura Schrader.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he faithfully served for 7 years.

With a successful career as a computer software programmer, Robert’s skill at developing equations and solving abstract problems was remarkable.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kathy MacRoberts (husband Jim) of Havelock, NC; son, David Schrader of Ravenel, SC; grandsons, Tim Mac Roberts (wife Serena), and Matt MacRoberts; and 2 great-granddaughters, Bella and Leia MacRoberts, all of Summerville, SC.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Penny.

Per his request, the family will celebrate his life privately.
