Robert Ernest Peck, 58, of Havelock, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Duke University Hospital.

His memorial service will be announced once it is finalized.

Robert was born on October 9, 1967, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to Robert Edwin Peck and the late Beverly Jean Mosser Peck. He was a man who truly lived life on his own terms. Robert loved being on the open road riding his motorcycle, enjoying quiet moments spent hunting and fishing, and the satisfaction he felt tinkering with electronics.

He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. Robert delighted in “terrorizing” friends and family on Facebook with jokes and pranks, and every Halloween he could be counted on to scare kids (and maybe a few adults) with his creative antics. He had a way of bringing smiles to others never missing an opportunity to joke, tease, or lighten the moment. Robert will be missed for his ability to make people laugh and just have fun.

Those left to treasure his memory are his loving wife Margaret Condrey of the home; and father, Robert Edwin Peck of Newport, N.C.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Jean Peck and his brother, Harry Gregory Peck.
