Robert Arnold ("Skip") John
December 12, 1970 — January 16, 2017
Robert “Skip” Arnold John, 46, of Newport, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City with Rev. Gary Carroll officiating.
Skip loved music, and played many instruments including the guitar, drums and piano. He was a very loving husband and father who will truly be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Tiana John; daughter, Ramie John; and son William “Liam” John, all of the home; his father, Richard John of New Bern; sisters, Teressa Oldson of Greenville, SC and Cindy Lamielle of New Bern, NC; brothers, James Oldson of Overland Park, KS, Larry “Rusty” Oldson of Kansas City, MO, Michael Oldson of Charlotte, NC and Richard “Chip” John Jr. of Newport, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Newman.
