Reta Faye Frazier

Reta Faye Frazier, 68, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 10, 2024.
 
Born on a joyous Christmas Day, December 25, 1955, in Harlowe, North Carolina, Reta was the cherished daughter of the late Freddie and Annie Mae Frazier. Her early years were filled with happiness as she grew up on the family homestead on George Road in Harlowe.

Throughout her career, Reta found fulfillment in her roles as a dedicated house cleaner and a certified nursing assistant in the home health field. One of her favorite hobbies was fishing, both for the enjoyment of the sport and the tasty reward of a great catch.

However, above all else, Reta held dear the moments spent with her family, with a special place in her heart for her beloved grandson, Korbin.

Left to treasure her memory are her devoted daughter, Celeta Frazier (Keith), residing in Wilmington, NC; adored grandson, Korbin Rendleman of Wilmington, NC; caring sister, Bonnie Lewis (Arnold) of Colorado; and supportive brothers, Clyde Frazier (Alice), Norman Frazier, all from Havelock, NC, and Nelson Frazier (Nancy) of New Jersey. She is also remembered by her nephew, Wade Dozier of Raleigh; distant relatives, Malaysia Hester and Rebecca Dozier; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Reta was reunited in peace with her sister, Dorothy Carey.

The family will celebrate Reta’s life privately.
