Rebecca Dupree Bannister, 54, of Pinehurst, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Moore Regional Hospital.
A Celebration of her Life will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the home of Joe and Kay Capps in Angier, NC.
She is survived by her daughter, Bliss Thompkins of Raleigh, NC; son, Tommy Thompkins of Southern Pines, NC; brother, Bobby Dupree of Morehead City; grandson, Dustin Weaver, Jr, of Angier, NC; aunt, Rebecca Partin of Angier, NC; uncle, Lynwood Dupree and wife Rachel of Angier, NC; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Larry Dupree and Billie Jean Stephenson Dupree; brother, Larry Dupree; and her "mama", Ruby Dupree.
