Randy Scott Matthews, 56, of Morehead City, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, at his home.
His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Parkview Baptist Church, with Rev. John Carswell officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle “Shelley” Matthews of the home; daughter, Danielle Nicole Matthews of Wilmington; sons, Ryan Scott Matthews and Zackery Luke Matthews both of Wilmington, Jasper Hayes Matthews and Wesley Anthony Matthews both of the home; parents, Charles Matthews, Jr. and Judy Matthews of Morehead City; niece, Jennifer Marie Matthews; nephew, Charles Kenneth Matthews, Jr.; and two great- nieces, Gaby Davis and Violet Tetterton.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Kenneth Matthews.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Munden Funeral Home.
