Pricy “Beebop” Elizabeth Leasure

Pricy “Beebop” Elizabeth Leasure, 74, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Carteret Health Care.

A private celebration of her life will be held by her family.

Born on September 11, 1950, in Pike County, Kentucky, Pricy was the daughter of the late Cecil and Gladys Chapman. She dedicated her professional life to serving as a paralegal, a role through which she found great fulfillment.

Throughout her life, Pricy had a deep appreciation for the beauty of flowers and often surrounded herself with their vibrant colors. Living on the coast, she loved lazy days at the beach. She loved moving to the rhythm of a good song and took advantage of every opportunity to dance and enjoy life.

In her retirement, Pricy kept busy by spending quality time with her family and friends. She had a passion for cooking and particularly enjoyed memorable oyster roasts and cookouts.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her son, Nathan Ball of Havelock, NC; sisters, Janice Terwlinger and Brenda Davis (Phil), all of Morehead City, NC; brother, Chuck Chapman of Reidsville, NC; sister-in-law, Gene Chapman; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pricy was preceded in death by her son, Brian Christopher “Chris” Ball; sister, Jenny Gale Chapman; and brothers, Donald Chapman, Cecil Chapman, and Ronald Dean; and sisters-in-law, Linda Chapman, and Freda Chapman.
