P. M. "Bipp" Russell, 88, of Bogue, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Harborview Health Care Center.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday at White Oak Church of God with Rev. DeWayne Dickerson officiating.
He was a charter member of White Oak Church of God, and served as a deacon, Sunday School superintendent and a choir member.
He is survived by his daughter, Becky Stewart and husband John of Broad Creek; son, Frankie Russell and wife Melanie of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Clarus "Gordie" Campbell of Cape Carteret; three grandchildren, Christie Russell Watson of Peletier, Brittiany Russell Holladay and husband Robert and Matthew Charles Stewart; and two great-grandchildren, Parker Steven Hartley and Jacie Gabrielle Watson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Parker Russell; parents, Piram and Druscilla Russell, Sr; two brothers and eight sisters.
The family will receive friends 4:30 - 6:00 pm prior to the service and also following the service at the church.
