Private services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by sisters,Yvette Morton of Charlotte, Michelle Kitchen of Gastonia, Suzanne Thomas of Rockingham and Jeanette Caddell of Ocean Isle and a brother, Charles DeMarques of Gastonia.
