Phil Pate
June 20, 1947 — December 24, 2015
Phil Pate, 68, of Newport, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at his home.
A private service will be held at a later date.
He honorably served in the U.S. Army, including during the Vietnam War. At one time Phil owned a concrete business in Apex, NC. He loved to fish with his brothers and he was loyal to his mother.
He is survived by his mother, Alma Pate; sister-in-law, Marjorie Pate; and two nieces, Amega McWilliams, and Reagen Jolly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Pate; and two brothers, Donald Richard Pate, and Leslie Pate, Jr..
