Penny was born on July 18,1952, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, to Harold and Wilma Cosner. A devoted member of Morehead Church of Christ, she loved the Lord and that showed in her everyday life. She had a special love for plants and unicorns, showcasing her colorful and fun personality. Penny enjoyed photography and saving precious memories in every snapshot. Reading and poetry were her favorite hobbies and how she enjoyed expressing herself.

Penny was a die-hard Penn State fan always ready to cheer them on. She also enjoyed spending quiet evenings watching her favorite television shows, MASH, Gunsmoke, The Andy Griffith Show, and the Golden Girls. Before her health declined, she devoted herself to caring for others. She served as an EMT with Wildwood for 3 years and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She also spent many years working at McDonald’s, where she formed lasting friendships with her grill buddy, Tony Matthews, and Melissa Smith who became one of her dearest friends.

Penny loved her family and doted on her precious grandchildren, and nephews, D.A. Bell and Bradley Pierce. Her caring heart and love for life will be forever remembered and cherished.
