Patricia A. Egger (née Green), 97, of Cape Carteret, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2026.

Patricia was born on June 12, 1929, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Elmer and Zella Green. She was raised in North Hill and graduated from North Hill High School in January 1948. In 1952, Patricia made her home in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where she remained a resident for many years before eventually making her way to the Crystal Coast.

She is survived by her grandson, Bradley Egger and his wife Devon, and special great grandsons, Liam and Logan Egger. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, all of whom were very close and special to her. 

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Lauren Egger; son, Douglas Egger; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Charles Somerville; and siblings, Richard Green, Eleanor Steinle, Mary Morse, Martha Green and Sally Pinter.

A private service will be held at a later date.
