Neil Powers
July 16, 1933 — February 4, 2016
Neill M. Powers, Ed. D. 82, of Havelock passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, February 7, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, Havelock, NC with Military Honors, with Rev. Bill Boykin officiating.
He is survived by his two daughters, Germaine P. Schow of Sacramento, CA and Cynthia P. Parrish of Belhaven, NC; one son, Edward E. Powers of Colletsville, NC; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elli P. Powers; parents, Cary and Annie Rivers Powers; two sisters, Phyllis Revis and Rhoda P. Collins, Ph.D; two brothers, Richard L. Powers, Ed. D. and Maurice C. Powers Ph. D.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall at the Church.
