She is survived by a daughter Mary Barbara Richards and husband LCpl. Kenneth of Hubert: a son Douglas Ayres Hajtovik of Havelock: a sister Barbara A. Smythe and husband Donald of Raleigh, and a brother Raymond A. Ayres of Florida.
