Mary Lyda Sturm

Mary Lyda Sturm, 93, of New Bern passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at HomePlace in New Bern.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 4, 2015 at First Baptist Church Havelock with Dr. Hadley officiating. Interment following at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She worked as a secretary for the Civil Service
She is survived by her son Vaughn Sturm and wife Mary Ann of Havelock;
two granchildren, Chris Sturm of Havelock and Michele Sturm Weeks and husband John of Niceville, FL; and one sister, Martha Larson of Farmont , WV; also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Granville E. Sturm; parents, Ernest and Phyllis Dietrich.
