Mary Lee Arthur Davis, age 94 of Cape Carteret, North Carolina, passed away June 24, 2026, in Ruston, Louisiana. 

A graveside service will be held at Bayview Cemetery in Morehead City, NC. Service details will be announced once they have been finalized.

She was born on September 4, 1931, in Morehead City, NC to the late Kemp B. Arthur and Ella Lee Howerton Arthur. 

Mary Lee was a member of Cape Carteret Baptist Church, a devout Christian lady who was very proud of her Southern roots and had many fond memories of growing up in Morehead City, which she always enjoyed sharing with others.

She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Lee Chamberlain (Mark); son, William Thomas Davis (Pamela); and daughter, Rebecca Joyce Saunders (Jason); as well as her grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Matthew Chamberlain, Benjamin Saunders, and Heather Saunders; and her great-grandchildren, Jaydon Davis, Aly Davis, Gabe Davis, and Leah Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William O. Davis, and her brother, Kemp B. Arthur Jr.
