Mary Tyson Benton, 93, of Ayden, formerly of Carteret County, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Britthaven in Ayden.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Friday at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Rev. Bert Eaton officiating.
She is survived by a nephew, Charles Dunn of Ayden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Benton.
