Malissa Hamilton

Malissa M. Hamilton, 86, of Harkers Island, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.
Mrs. Hamilton was a member of Harkers Island Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Vergie Mae Cemetery with the Rev. Clinton Nelson officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Collins of Harkers Island; three sisters, Paulenne Lawrence of Otway, Vernia Carol Brazie of Harkers Island, and Brenda Dail Lewis of Harkers Island; three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Hamilton, parents, Tyre and Emma Moore, a daughter, a son, one sister, three brothers, and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
