Madeline Katherine Lewis, 88, of Harkers Island passed away at Carteret Health Care.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2016 at Vergie Mae Cemetery with Father Tom Davis officiating.
She is survived by her one daughter, Stephanie M. Branch of Smithfield, NC; three sons, Reginald B. Lewis Sr. of Gloucester, NC, Thomas Ryan Lewis of Otway and Peter R. Lewis of Moyock, NC; and seven grandchildren; also one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald V. Lewis; two daughters, Carmen Koonce and Melody Salter; parents, Clyde and Ruth Newbold Clatterbuck.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Carteret County Humane Society, Po Box 357 Newport, NC 28570.
