Luther Lloyd Eubanks, III, 65, of South River, died Wednesday October 10, 2012, at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hardy Cemetery.
Luther was a member of Double Portion Church in Tuscaloosa, AL, and served in the US Coast Guard.
He is survived by his wife Diana Eubanks of the home: two daughters Darla Renae Eubanks Kemmerer and husband Mark of Clinton, MS and Melissa Eubanks Trenter and husband Justin of Brookwood, AL: two sons Luther Lloyd Eubanks, IV and wife Bonnie of Sparks, NV and Michel Sadato Eubanks of Sparks, NV: eight grandchildren: four sisters Monya Pake and husband Eric of South River, Linda Robinson and husband Grear of Newport, Tanya Rice of Havelock and Jennie Lehman and husband Michael of Bridgeton: one brother Clyde Eubanks and wife Marilyn of South River.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Naomi Eubanks.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Carteret General Hospital in the CCU unit.
