Lt. Paul Fogo, MHDPD (Retired)

Paul McGary Fogo, 82, of Morehead City, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Crystal Bluffs.

A memorial gathering will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Debbie’s residence.

Paul served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer.  He was also a Lieutenant for 34 years with the Morehead City Police Department.  He loved Morehead City and enjoyed his years as a police officer protecting and serving the community.  He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, as well as a loyal Blue Devil.

Paul is survived by his step daughters Debbie Ennis and husband Ronnie and Julie Santana and husband Robert, all of Morehead City; step sons, Joey Szilagyi of Roseboro, NC, Charles Arthur Coats of TX and Johnny Coats and wife Lisa of WI; and brother, Wally Fogo.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Daphne Fogo; and sister, Virginia.
