February 12, 1955 — January 23, 2017
Lovett Wayne Best, 61, of Morehead City, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at UNC REX Healthcare in Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, January 27, 2017 at Gethsemane Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome at the home following the service.
Lovett was fond of the water; he enjoyed the beach and loved to go fishing. He was a loving husband to his wife Cathy of 39 years. He will truly be missed.
Lovett is survived by his wife, Cathy, of the home; cousins, Elizabeth Ann Harris of Elizabethtown, NC and Robert Allen Warren of Wilmington, NC; mother in law, Louise Harris of Goldsboro, NC and sister in law Wanda Height and husband Russell of Clayton, NC; and niece, Amanda Height of Buies Creek, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood and Mary (Warren) Best.
The family will welcome friends from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Friday, January 27, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home.
