Loretta Lynch, 82, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, in Havelock, North Carolina. Born on March 26, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formerly of the Meadows section of S.W. Philadelphia.

Loretta lived a life defined by hard work, deep love for her family, and an appreciation for life’s simple joys. Loretta dedicated over two decades of her career to United Airlines before transitioning to a fulfilling role with the Garnet Valley School District, where she worked with dedication until her retirement. Her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence were hallmarks of her professional life.

Family was at the heart of Loretta’s world. She is survived by her son, Bernie Lynch and his wife, Phyllis; her daughter, Loretta Morgan (Lynch) and her husband, Albert; as well as ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Bernard Lynch; her daughter, Linda Mullen; her brother, Jack Laumakis; and her sister, Anne Laumakis. Loretta’s love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life—she cherished time spent together and found great joy in cooking meals that brought everyone close for holidays.

Loretta had a lifelong passion for animals, especially horses and her dogs, which brought her immense happiness. She enjoyed trips to the beach, a bit of shopping, and simply being surrounded by those she loved most. Her warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A strong yet loving woman, affectionately known as “Mommom,” Loretta will be remembered for her caring nature and unwavering devotion to her family. May her memory bring comfort to all who loved her.
