Lorenzo B. "L.B." Willis, Jr., 81, of Bettie, died Friday, July 31, 2009, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday at Welcome Home Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Lewis and the Rev. Ernie Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Fay G. Willis of the home; two sons, James B. Willis and wife Karen of Shepherdstown, WV and Keith Willis and wife Patsy of Bettie; daughter, Sherri Thomas and husband Hamp of Southern Pines; sister, Mary Laughton of Morehead City; four grandchildren, Pam Blank and husband Dave of Bettie, Cynthia Inman and husband Gary of Bettie, Lauren Thomas of Winston Salem, and William Thomas of Southern Pines, a great grandson, Keith Garner of Bettie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
