Lisa Gail Milicia, 64, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Carteret Health Care.

Lisa was born on July 15, 1961, in Lumberton, NC, to the late Bobby and Annie Ruth Locklear. After graduating high school, she continued her education at Hardbarger College in Raleigh. She went on to dedicate many years of service to the Board of Education, where she was a valued and dependable secretary, known for her kindness and steady presence.

Lisa found joy in life's simple, beautiful moments. She had a true love for gardening, spending countless hours tending to her flowers and planting trees that will continue to grow in her memory. One of her favorite places was the gazebo at her home, where she could sit peacefully and take in the beauty around her. Music was always close to her heart, and it was rare to find her without a good country song playing nearby. She also had a fondness for old westerns and especially enjoyed watching Gunsmoke.

Above all, Lisa loved the Lord. Her faith was an important part of her life, and before her illness, she faithfully attended Temple Baptist Church.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of over 38 years, Tony Milicia; daughters, Ashley Lynn Hunt and Crystal Gale Hunt, both of Rowland, NC; brother, Bobby Nelson Locklear of Pembroke, NC; and granddaughter, Gabrielle Marie Jones.
