Linda Tolson

Linda Tolson, 79, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at her home.

A gathering of family and friends to honor Linda’s life will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 24th at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.

Linda was born on May 18, 1944, in Wakefield, Virginia, to the late W.T. and Dorothy Wesson. She was a devoted and caring woman whose love knew no bounds. Linda adored her family and treasured spending time with them. 

A dedicated member of First Presbyterian Church, she remained close to friends and special church family. Linda had a special group of friends that she shared over 50 years with.

Linda could be found most days maintaining her beautiful yard and finding joy in watching and feeding her birds. She also enjoyed cooking meals for her loved ones. Linda and her husband Thomas loved being on the golf course together in their free time. She will be missed, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Thomas Tolson of the home; daughter, Brandi Brown (Buddy) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; son, Ross Boyer (Jessica) of Louisville, Kentucky; sister, Elsie Rice (Jim) of Emporia, Virginia; sister-in-law, Sheila Wesson; grandchildren, Dustin, Logan, Alex, and Daniel; 2 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra “Sandi” Bridgers, and brother Scottie Wesson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carteret Hospice, 3722 Bridges Street, Morehead City, NC 28557. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Carteret Hospice for the care that they showed Linda.
